Privacy notice

This is an English translation of our Spanish privacy notice (Aviso de privacidad). If the two differ, the Spanish version prevails.

Who is responsible for your data

Jaime Humberto Herrera Gutiérrez, who operates Apsaro (“Apsaro”), located in Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico, is the data controller under Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties. For any privacy matter, write to info@apsaro.com.

What Apsaro is

Apsaro is a platform that connects artificial intelligence agents, automation workflows and applications to messaging channels such as WhatsApp Business through an API. The businesses that use it (“customers”) connect their own accounts and decide what each agent is allowed to do.

This website

apsaro.com does not use cookies, forms or analytics tools. To display its typeface, your browser downloads files from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address. If you email us, we use your name and email address only to reply to you.

Data we process when you use the platform

• Identity and contact: name, email, phone number and company of the person who creates the account.
• Billing: tax ID, legal business name and tax address.
• Connected accounts: your WhatsApp Business account identifiers, phone number, message templates and the access tokens Meta issues when you connect. Tokens are stored encrypted.
• Messages: the content of the messages you send and receive through the platform, your contacts’ phone numbers and profile names, and the date and status of each message.
• Technical logs: IP address, API keys used and a log of the actions each agent performs.

We do not request sensitive personal data. If your contacts’ messages include it, we process it only to deliver those messages.

How we use it

Purposes required to provide the service

• Creating and managing your account.
• Connecting your messaging accounts, and sending, receiving and delivering messages to the systems you choose.
• Enforcing the permissions you set and logging what each agent does.
• Security, abuse prevention and technical support.
• Billing and compliance with legal obligations.

Additional purpose

Sending you product news. To opt out, write to info@apsaro.com. Opting out does not affect the service.

Data about our customers’ contacts

When a customer uses Apsaro to communicate with its own customers, that customer is the controller of that data and Apsaro processes it on the customer’s behalf, as a processor: only to provide the service and following the customer’s instructions. If you are a contact of a business that uses Apsaro, please direct your requests to that business. If you write to us, we will help you reach it.

Data we receive from Meta

Data we obtain from Meta platforms, such as WhatsApp Business, is used only to provide the service the customer enabled. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it beyond what this notice describes.

Who we share data with

To operate, we rely on providers that process data on our behalf: Meta Platforms, to deliver messages, and providers of servers and cloud services, email and payments. They may use the data only to provide their services to us, and some are located outside Mexico. We also disclose data to authorities when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. If you close it, we delete your data within 30 days, except for what we must keep to meet tax or legal obligations.

How to delete your data

• Email info@apsaro.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete my data”. We confirm the deletion within 30 days.
• When you disconnect a WhatsApp account in Apsaro, we stop using its tokens and delete them.
• You can also remove Apsaro’s access from your Meta account or business portfolio settings.

Your rights

You may access, rectify or cancel your data, or object to its use (ARCO rights), and you may revoke your consent or limit how your data is used. Send your request to info@apsaro.com with your name, the data concerned, what you are asking for and a copy of your ID. We respond within the time limits set by law.

We publish any change on this page, along with its update date.
